Statement of Faith

This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible, itself, is the sole and final source of all we believe. We do believe, however, the following Statement of Faith accurately represents the teaching of the Bible and, therefore, is binding upon all members. All literature used within CHASE shall be in agreement with our Statement of Faith.

1. We believe the Bible, both Old (39 books) and New (27 books) Testaments, to be the inerrant and complete Word of God to all people. It was written by men under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It reveals God's passionate pursuit of mankind to Himself. It is the supreme source of truth and the standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. * 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Timothy 1:13, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119:105 & 160, Psalm 12:6, Proverbs 30:5

2. We believe there is one and only one living and true God, the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is never changing and consistent in His being. * Genesis 1:1, 1:26-27, 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Cor. 13:1

3. We believe that Jesus Christ was fully man and fully God in His incarnation. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless, flawless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death on the cross for the redemption of our sins through His shed blood. He rose from the dead, in bodily form, on the third day, for our justification and in the ascension to the right hand of the Father in heaven, where He intercedes as our High Priest. *Matthew 1:18-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5, 14:10-30, Hebrews 4:14-15, 1Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, 1Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13.

4. We believe Jesus Christ will return at any time to take those who believe and trust in him to heaven and will return to judge and righteously rule the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. *John 14:23, Matthew 25:31-34.

5. We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God fully divine and whose coming was promised by Jesus. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. * Isaiah 6:8-9, Acts 28:25-26, John 14:16-26, Galatians 5:18, 5:25, 1 Corinthians 12:30, 2:12, 2 Corinthians 3:17.

6. We believe man is the special creation of God, in His own image. For this reason, human life is valued above all other living things, and we are commanded to love the people around us. By his free choice, disobedience, self-centeredness, and sin against God, man incurred both physical and spiritual death, and brought sin into the human race. Sin separates us from God until the relationship is restored through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7, James 3:9, Romans 5:12-19, 3:23, Psalm 8:36, Isaiah 53:6, 59:1-2.

7. We believe salvation is a free gift from God. Salvation cannot be achieved by good works, it can only be received by faith in Jesus Christ. Humans were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. 8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and the Church consists of all who have trusted, and follow Jesus, as Savior and Lord. Jesus Christ is the head of the church. *1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Colossians 1:18

9. We believe the local Christian Church performs the work of God on earth, through the power of the Holy Spirit. This work includes inviting others to follow Jesus, nurturing new believers in the faith, discipling mature believers, guiding people with the Bible and offering accountability, using our abilities to benefit the community, and meeting the needs of others. The local Christian Church gathers to worship and grow closer to God through prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the Good News (the Gospel), and the observation of the ordinances of believers' Baptism and the Communion instituted by the Lord Jesus. *Matthew 28:19-20, Hebrews 10:24-25, Ephesians 4:11-14, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, & 11:23-26, James 1:27

10. We believe it is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations, locally and globally. This is the Great Commission. *Matthew 28:18-20

11. We believe that the term Marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in scripture. *Genesis 2:18-25 We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. *1Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4 We believe that God’s command is that there be no sexual intimacy outside of or apart from marriage between a man and a woman.

12. We believe that God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex. Payment Instructions

New family FullTime membership fee for the 2024-2025 school year is $350 per family. An invoice will be sent to you and payment is available through the website when you login using your username and password. Payment through the webite is preferred, but check or cash will also be accepted. Payment is due by 6/30/2024. If needed, payment in 2 installments will also be available.
